About Us

The Harrison County Career & Technical Education Center was constructed in 1975 adjacent to Harrison Central High School.  Enrollment is open to students from Harrison Central, West Harrison, and D’Iberville High Schools.

Students apply for a 2-year program to begin either their 10th or 11th grade year.  Applications are accepted during the year prior to enrollment, with the priority deadline of April 1.  Harrison Central students walk across the street to the Center for the period their class meets, while D'Iberville and West Harrison are bussed to the center for their class period.

Vision Statement:
The Harrison County Career & Technical Education Center is dedicated to the establishment of a 21st Century educational environment where motivated students are empowered to excel, engaged in learning, and prepared to transition into higher education or a career upon graduation.
