GO GREEN!student project

Ms. Wilson’s Business Fundamentals students are making the Earth a better place by Going Green! Ms. Wilson provided the students with various, creative choices on the topic of Going Green in a smart, clever way; a Tic-Tac-Toe Choice board. These projects include making a poster, a collage, a Going Green-themed Jeopardy game, a survey, a PowerPoint presentation, a Venn Diagram, an article summary and opinion, and even a song. By providing choices, the students become more aware of our environment and how they can efficiently preserve it while expressing themselves creatively. The new generation of students at the Harrison County Career Technical Center are Going Green for the sake of their future-will you?  Posted Sep 13, 2017

FBLA and Dominos Pizza:  A Win/Win/Win

The Harrison County CTC FBLA has partnered FBLA students sell pizzaswith Dominos this year to help raise money to cover travel expenses. On Sat, Sep 24 and Oct 22, members of the Harrison County CTC FBLA chapter shook banners at Dominos to help solicit sales. Dominos gave our chapter 20% of what they made during the hours of banner shaking.

This was a win/win/win for all involved. Dominos increased sales, FBLA earned fundraising money, and the customers bought medium pizzas for only $3.99 each.  Posted Oct 24, 2016
